Dry Needling

Dry needling is fabulous for sorting out those muscles that just don’t seem to want to relax. Dry needling is based on trigger points. Trigger points are irritable hard ‘knots’ that may cause pain in your muscles.Trigger points can be rather pesky as not only can they be painful but they can also limit your flexibility and stretch of your muscle. Dry needling is Dr Grace’s weapon of choice when dealing with stubborn trigger points. This procedure involves a very thin needle inserted into the trigger point. Often this creates a twitch response that releases the tight muscle bands associated with the trigger point. After a dry needling session, you should experience a reduction in pain, improved muscle flexibility and reduced inflammation.
